Granblue( Incomplete Pinot Noir ) Deck Profile

Hi guys, this is my first deck post. For now, I'm building an incomplete Granblue legion deck. It easily costs around $20-$30 so its perfect for players who are low on budget. It is technically a trial deck that is a little stronger. Without further ado, let's go into the details.

Turn over everything you got!

The focus of this deck is the Pinot Noir Legion Set. 1 RR set costs about $4 SGD while an SP set costs about $7-$8. Pinot Noir allows you to mill 3 cards to superior call a card from the drop zone and he can gain +5000 power for a cost of sacrificing a rear guard. It is recommended that you retire a unit that is going to be retired anyway, like units called with Lord of the Seven Seas, Nightmist's break ride skill, which is what we are going to talk about next.

Break Ride! This mechanism was introduced in season 3, which is, well, pretty long ago. Nightmist costs around $4 ( I dunno because I have not bought him yet). His break ride skill allows you to superior call two units from the drop zone for 1 turn, with a bonus of 5000 power for them and a 10000 power bonus for the vanguard. Pretty good, huh. Moreover, you can retire units called by his skill to power up Pinot Noir even more!

Now that we've covered the key cards, let's go into the backup G3s. As you can see, there's a
problem with incomplete decks. That is there are not enough G3s to cover the lineup. So, we'll need some other G3s.

These are what you call backups, people. A Limit Breaker that can Limit Break for a 5000 power boost and has a skill that allows you to superior call on ride/call. The other is a 12-beater that allows you to hit an 11k vanguard without boost.
These are essential for Plan B in the
event that you do not draw Pinot Noir.

Now, it's time for you to get involved! Please comment on the type of deck you want THIS deck to be! Offensive or defensive, whether to stall or to try to finish it in one turn. Thanks everyone!

Building On A Budget

First of all, let me correct a common misunderstanding. Budget decks= Less power. Sure, budget decks cannot top tournaments, however, they allow you to play Vanguard although you have a tight budget.

So, what is a budget deck? There can be two types of budget decks. One of them is an incomplete deck, which is not full built. The other is a deck which is non-meta and lacks some staples.

Then, here comes the question. Which is better? I personally do not have an answer for that. It depends on your preference, to depend on luck to draw the key card or to use a key card with less power but with more chance of drawing it.

Finally, I hope that everyone has fun playing Vanguard and learns from each other. Stay tuned for my next post! Feel free to give me deck ideas and lastly, thank you!
